Russia’s war against Ukraine shook the world and broke the rules of international law. And it demands justice. It demands that Putin be prosecuted in The Hague
Today, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the Agreement on establishing the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression committed by Russia against Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukraine and the Council of Europe signed the agreement to create this Special Tribunal in The Hague – the first tribunal focused on the crime of aggression since World War II. It is designed to prosecute top Russian leaders for the war they started.
Putin and Russia’s top leaders must be held fully accountable.
